Hi, Fun Police.

This thread ought to be for discussion of the verse itself. If a thread is hijacked specifically to shit on a user associated with that verse, regardless of your feelings towards whatever that user is doing or trying to do, that can be construed as a legitimate rule violation, specifically in regards to our policies on polite behavior and derailment of threads. So, henceforth, knock that shit off, please. Keep the discussion to lunar seamen or whatever.

Speaking just from my point of view, I believe people like @Iamunanimousinthat are actually extremely influential because Sailor Moon vs Goku is a more contentious topic than the wiki makes it look like.

Maybe vs wiki will not have millions of views on Sailor Moon's profile, but someone from TikTok will share it, it spreads to millions of young people, and becomes part of pop culture.

And if that what is spread is misinformation, it will become misinformation in the public space.

This is why calling out such behaviour is in my opinion justified. As someone who doesn't like stalking or even really making fun of others, I believe threads like this can well move on (especially when the guy wants to take a break and calm down). Powerscaling is a very memey hobby in general since it's more or less slander.

It's not the wiki's or wiki staffs' job to "handle misinformation" on other public platforms. People will think what they want to think, no member or staff here is responsible for that, we're only responsible for what goes on in here. That's all. Furthermore it's pretty weird to call it "misinformation" in general.
