I imagine Mel would win. In pure strength I think Meliodas can overpower Ryu (unless Ryu has some sort of hax I'm unaware of). Especially if bloodlusted and Meliodas goes into full Demon Rage mode in which he destroyed Danafor.

well.... if you look in Ryu's powers and abilities, he can use raging demon.

Raging demon would essentially kill his soul if he if they do not empty it of all negative feelings, if Meliodas has knowledge of this, he could restrain all emotions and anger (as he neded to get his full power back), but otherwise I assume Ryu would kill Meliodas quite easily then.

If Ryu turns into Evil Ryu, he should be able to win due being on a higher tier.

But on base, Meliodas should be able to win due the sheer strength difference.
