RWFC4: We Who Prevail

[Everyone will have the same opportunity to get the next soul. It'llbe a bit longer before you do though. ]

"Hey, there's a huge problem. One of the SD's goons did something to me. They said they could see weeks into my future or something like that. He was in the tournament, and I beat him. The good news is we don't have to worry about the SD getting their hands on any of the prizes, espesially that wish. The bad news is we don't know where he is now."
"I'm sure you'll see him again at some point."

CrimsonStarFallen said:
"Well, how would we do that?"
"I was waiting for someone to ask that. The thing is, I know how, but without Kuro you won't be able to do it. He was the only one who knew how to get to the place. I have a couple of other solutions, but I doubt you'll like either."

"Welp, too bad, because I'm outta here!" After a few days, another rake gag happened as a rake, set up from behind, slammed him straight in the face.

Uber finishes her drink. "Ahh, that was refreshing~."
In the bar, you notice a familiar person sitting by herself drinking. She was the one helping the Torchlight group. Karol... Kora... Kura! Seems like she's lost in thoughts all alone.

A flower in a flowerpot on a table suddenly stretches over to Uber, she pours some of the water on the flower before it goes back to,it's pot. She then finishes off the water. "Whelp, I'll be going now, bye." Uber gets up and leaves, but not before placing money on the counter.

I decide to go to the bar.

"I'll have a milk."

"Yeah. You're the manliest person here."

"Uhh, in a dirty glass!"
"Milk in a dirty glass, coming right up."

I point to Jake, who's still full-sized from the tournament match
"Wait, he does? Well, he is sleeping, so..." I reach into SNI, discovering David has mind reading.

"Just read his memories David." I tell him.

Turns out Jake is a really heavy sleeper

damnit

"Also on that already." i respond to Azencard

I spend a moment reading through his memories, finding Kuro's and going through all of them one by one

after what is maybe a second or so to normal people, i've completed this

"Ok, i should be a adequate substitute for Kuro now."

[Meanwhile]

"Thank you very much!"

After getting her signature (by having an impression of her fists being printed violently onto a big page). I thanked her while bowing down.

"No prob! Us Black Horse have to stick together right?"

"You will be fighting against one of them though. He's very tough, but I wished you good luck!!"

"I wished you good luck too! May ya meet again in the field!"

After that, I came over to the place where The have fight before, and began analyzing work, as usual. Shortly after...

"Hm...if what he boast is right, he really should have some quick thinking speed...If I have to face him, then it should be time for God Brain to work then."

Also, looking at his opponent... So that should be Darkness huh?...

"So, do you know how to traverse through the Sea of Souls to Elder Valley?"

I stare at my milk in a dirty glass and begin to rethink my choices. Not even my choices that led me here, just my choice to get this beverage.

"Wait sea of souls to an elder valley? So we have to swim through a sea of souls that may scream at our faces then go to some unstable valley or smth???" *Though in my head I feel I can absorb some of the souls if this is the result...seems like my book is hungry for souls to be perfectly honest*

"So, neither plan has the highest chance of success, and both have their downsides. Plan A will take longer, but is the safer choice. Plan B could potentially work immediately, but comes with FAR greater risk. It's better that you consider this before I actually tell you what it is."

"Oh, hell no! I'm leaving!" He then looked for a rake, took a step, looked behind, took another step, looked behind, and then received a letter. "Ooh, fan-mail!" He looked at it.

"LOOK BEHIND YOU."

He looked behind and a rake hit him in the face.

As people talk to the old man I'm listening from a bit away. I begin practicing the techniques my clones who were watching the other matches observed, adjusting them to better fit my body and favored weapons, and replicating the swords I saw.

"Well then. Plan A takes a bit of explaining. As the Emissary's anchor in this world, I have the ability to know certain things about the univ- well, multiverse, and the things in it. It's part of the reason I could (for the most part) tell who you are. I can sense when somebody has powers like yours. They're called... what was it the old man said...? Whatever. Point is, The Champ is one of you. I tried to contact him in the past to confirm whether he's with the Emissary or not, but the guy has absolutely no interest in talking to anybody who can't put up a fight. My ability tells me that he's already unlocked the potential of his own souls. If he isn't with the Emissary, then he might know a way to get to the place and somehow did it himself. The basic idea of plan A is for one of you win the tournament and get the information out of him in the championship match. Unless some miracle happens I doubt any of you stand the faintest chance of beating him, but if you can at least entertain him for a while, he should likely be willing to talk."

CrimsonStarFallen said:
"So plan B is to just challenge him?"
"Well that would be plan A if it were possible. Unfortunately, outside of the times he shows up for a match, he disappears completely. Not even I can locate him when it happens, and I doubt any of you could either."

"And with the priestess around, challenging him then doesn't work either." I add in, as I practice using some broadsword techniques with my toes.
