But wouldn't the assumptions here mean that they're got rid of all of the air inside the arena and turned it into a vacuum? That doesn't seem right for just a shockwave calc.

The math is based off of a few other currently accepted shockwave calcs that all us the same method

Lol, I'm joking (come to think of it, forgot to cross out my comment to make that clear, my mistake). I had gotten an 8-C key for FFVII so a proper match was possible though Yang still likely AP stomped. Nothing against the upgrade (can't really speak for calcs myself, but everything seems alright), my bad if it seemed like that.

I mean they didn't have any High 8-C calcs to scale to, the only High 8-C calc until now came from Yatsuhashi to my knowledge.
The rest of their feats were some 9-A+, and lots of 8-C to 8-C+.

Specifically, amped Nora in the Vytal Festival shattering part of the platform and blowing up half the forest biome, Qrow and Winter's clash that destroyed one of Beacon's archways, and Weiss' ice KE, and Yang being slammed through pillars by the Paladin.

But just because they function like guns doesn't mean they'd have similar speeds. Its not like they are firing normal bullets anyway. You are free to make that assumption but don't think its all that valid.
