As someone who has reached out and tried to help and I am not the only one. It doesnt seem to get through to them. They have burned through alot of goodwill in the commuinty.

Hello. This is an announcement from the HR group.
A report was recently brought against @Wankbreaker regarding accusations that they were a sockpuppet account of @BasedNecoScaler69. Issues raised included apparent IP overlaps between the two users and Wankbreaker's overt use of a false identity, interspersed throughout a long history of suspicions tied to the proxmity of their account creation to BasedNecoScaler's ban, BasedNecoScaler's expressed interest in creating a sockpuppet account around this period, and the common elements of threads they would engage with on the forum. This matter was investigated privately by the HR group.
We have concluded on the basis of this investigation that these accusations are true, and so we have permanently banned Wankbreaker's account.
Further discussion is not permitted.

What will happen to the translations done by @Wankbreaker? I'm not aware of why he was banned before, so will his translations still be valid or does all of the stuff he translated have to get re-evaluated?

I'm not sure if she did it in many threads, but in one of my threads I created in the past, she translated quite a few scans. She also translated some lengthy scans off-site on discord (DMs).

It's worth noting that Wankbreaker only translated stuff for the sake of being hired for the translation helper role, then never touched the official translations thread again once he had successfully gained it. I personally find that already noteworthy enough to notify about him onto HR, but I ultimately decided not to go for it in case I sound like an asshole for making someone actually do their role.

Well, our community does very greatly need new translation helpers, particularly ones fluent in Japanese... and cheating by using artificial intelligence just to get a staff position is obviously a bannable offense.

I don't know anything about that. I just made a general statement that we need help from people who are genuinely fluent in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, primarily Japanese right now.

It's pretty likely since I've been told that Marshadow/BasedNecoScaler has said before that he didn't know Japanese, which does explain why all of his threads used other people's translations and why his own translations sound suspiciously like machine translation.
I'd advise people to avoid his translations out of caution.

I asked a few of my friends, including one of the VSBW users whom I'm unsure if I should name without their permission, who's my friend, and they all had one same thing to say; in that WB is about N5 level at best, and their tone sounded really off-putting, but honestly, I think the part we should focus on is the former rather than the latter, since I've met some genuine people on VC and such who sound more artificial than artificial intelligence itself, so no biggie there.

I believe reporting him to Fandom is needed here, because this goes against there rules and if he creates alt accounts that would be disgustingly bad.

Hello. I would like myself to be perma-banned.
I think I have committed many mistakes, here and outside this forum.
The way I tended to lose my cool at times, how I was hesitant with my points of view...And the worst part, how I ended up ignoring friends for some stupid reason, I can't even recognize myself anymore.
I've been clinically diagnosticated with a severe thing, both mentally anf physically, I want to live the few years I have left with dignity, do things before I go to the otherworld, in this short lifespan I want to enjoy real life at it's fullest before the day comes.
And I feel like, still being here will only make myself feel even worse.
Tho, I don't think I will ever comeback, but if I do, I will try to improve myself.
I really need to improve irl, I'm dramatically ill.
