I personally would go for six months. His response was so insanely disproportionate to Coomander being a toxic nuisance that it's genuinely unhinged behavior from DbzDB2. But since the ban has already been applied, it is what it is.

I was asleep when the Coomander/DbzDB2 drama escalated, but I agree both of them were expressing great toxicity. Coomander may have instigated it, but Dbz's responses were far worse; and it's been said that telling people to kill themselves or that "They should have been aborted" to their faces is permanent ban worthy. Those are basically the number 1 ways to get permabanned. I know he was understandably frustrated with Coomander, but telling people that is going too far. The ban being as little as 2 months sounds quite hypocritical considering the toxic influences of people like Amexin, or Mad Dog of Fujiwura. I'm open-minded if people think that may have been out of context and if Dbz's acknowledges his own action that it was too far, but it obviously should be a lot longer than 2 months regardless of context or history. But will hear what other staff have to say if they're willing.

Whether that changes the decision or not, leave it up to the majority. I wouldn't also mind the straight permaban btw.

He did apologize for saying those words, but I kinda agree that 2 months ban seems a bit light even if it was provoked (which it was provoked by Coomander in this instance)
Also I already warned him on his wall to not make things worse on his end regarding his report and he kinda persisted even after I warned him to not do it.

I was aware of his other deleted comments too, I considered the profile one the most egregious since it involved taking the conversation on an offensive on behalf of Dbz, whereas in other instances it was in a thread where they were already duking it out.
I can compromise if sought after by enough of you guys but I really don't want to perma a guy. It's easy to **** up when you're being assailed relentlessly, and in my view he was. I don't think he's evil, I think he has poor self control and stress management. If it becomes a more consistent problem then that's that, but for now I'd prefer some level of leniency.

I don't think we should necessarily require someone to have access on Fandom to use our forum. If someone has already signed up, but lost their password and can't recover it, I don't think we should ban them until they get a password back.
Even if they were globally blocked by Fandom, I can imagine cases where we shouldn't worry. Before we had an external forum, the admin Kepekley23 got globally blocked by Fandom for a few months because they quoted an instance of a troll saying the n-word asking for them to be banned, without censoring it. If that happened when we had an external forum, I wouldn't have wanted him banned for it.
However, since this case was for plagiarism, something which is against our rules, and they were found at fault of it by a reliable external authority for this sort of thing (Fandom), I'm fine with them receiving a ban in parity with their Fandom one, which is presumably permanent. If not, they can appeal on a staff member's wall on Community Central.
Also, I don't think their attempted wiki adoption request should be taken seriously. I noticed it before this recent incident and didn't report it since it was obviously not going to work, and they seemed to be approaching it in an incompetent way, rather than a malicious way.

Lots of wikis unashamedly copycat our entire system without any negative consequences for them, even though I have objected about it to Fandom, and that is likely far more severe than what Re5yh has done, so I think that we should unblock him from our forum for the time being to make him able to explain what exactly that he has done, and make a private request to Fandom to receive an explanation from them, and possibly mediate a lighter sentence, as well.

I'm not sure how many times he did this, but there is this clear example of him doing so without attribution. I've heard high numbers thrown out there, but I don't want to repeat them without confirming them myself.
As I mentioned, I don't think that attempt was serious. The information that he provided was either earnest in a way that would inevitably lead to his request being rejected (only having 6 recent edits, identifying that our wiki had 23 admins active in the last two months), or was nonsensical (his reason for adoption).
I think this was a confused attempt by a different user who saw Re5yh's request, rather than evidence of a sockpuppet. But a little more evidence would tip the scales for me.By the way, I may have discovered a sockpuppet account from him:

Okay. And do we know for a fact that their block against him is permanent? I was not able to see any information beyond that he has been blocked by them for an undisclosed amount of time.

Normally, I'd prefer to give him a warning before a ban, but it sounds like he was in denial of what was actually happening. Also the page he created if it is completely paralyzed should be either overhauled or deleted.

He was accused of plagiarism according to a Fandom report as noted by Agnaa here.
More specifically, apparently on a different wiki, he was accused of plagiarism on a different wiki using VS Battle Wiki pages and other wikis.

Incompetence and malice aren’t really mutually exclusive. If I take a gun and try to shoot someone, but stupidly hold the gun backwards and end up shooting myself, that doesn’t negate the fact that I still tried to shoot someone.
When asked about the request, look at what they said:
I think he was serious, and my interpretation of the last text block is “I didn’t want to become an admin but nameless is stalking me so if I’m an admin I can do something about it”
I do agree with not banning him for the global block, but I think he’s just a troll. I’d support keeping the ban for trollish behavior.
