Nevermind, Rick wins this. His aim is far better to the point where he managed to mow down a herd of walkers with instant headshots with Carl in the prison arc. Since in the last episode where he got Lucille (Negan's bat which has spikes all over it), a hit to the head or anywhere else will permanently damage Joel if he doesnt double over one way or another. Negan killed Glenn in two hits with Lucille so I can't imagine that with a few decent swings Rick could be able to take out Joel. (ALSO Rick lit Lucille on fire so thats extra power there) Not to mention if Rick gets him in the head with his pistol (which he likely will).

True but Joel has done the same against targets that aren't slow and even a bat with barbed wire is still just that, a normal human can survive it but no way in hell Rick can take a hatchet to the face. That and Joel has better ranged guns.

Joel has scissors tapped to a bat, 4x4 with scissors tapped to it, a crowbar with scissors tapped to it, a machete, and an ax.

All of those are one hit kills compared to Lucille. Aim? Joel has killed infected while dangling down upside down from a chain.

Lighting Lucille on fire doesn't make a difference really, besides Joel again has MUCH abetted equipment which is very varied. Not sure if that cote can be counted
