Resistance Question

Can the Resistance of a character be higher then the character’s actual tier? For example, If a character is Planet level in AP but can resist Mind Altering abilities from an Universal Being on a Universal Scale is that possible?

Yes as hax is not quite related to AP (welp, at least at those tiers, how it works with Tier 1 I may never known).

The best example off the top of my head are characters from Hi3rd like this girl who can resist 11D mind hax despite having tier 6 AP.
