As the title suggests this CRT mainly concerns with the OG timeline of RE, this will mostly apply to characters before RE7 although characters like Ethan and Jack Baker are in this. This will be a long one so…

Attack Potency

Speed

Durability

Characters’ durability rating should be as high as their enemies AP

Intelligence

  • Karl Heisenberg should be rated “Genius”
    • Heisenberg’s experiments are actually impressive. Directly quoting @Da3ggman (I’m not bothering to paraphrase it) “He has them outfitted with a device that stabilizes their physical movements by simulating brainwaves, allowing them to engage in combat and even be able to understand language and commands to a certain extent, as seen with Sturm. This is the kind of shit fleets of scientists and researchers have been trying to create and develop for decades now due to things like paralysis, Parkinson's, and nerve damage, and we collectively have barely managed to do a fraction of what Heisenberg has done with just rusted junk.”

Lifting Strength

Common abilities

Additions (Most abilities basically applies to every character, abilities based on their weapons)
  • Explosion Manipulation
  • Fire Manipulation
  • Light Manipulation
  • Acid Manipulation
  • Electricity Manipulation
  • Poison Manipulation
Removals
  • Stealth Mastery (Unless quietly walking past Lickers or turning the lights off on Wesker counts as Stealth Mastery, this can be removed from most character’s profiles)
  • Statistics Amplification (This comes from Yellow Herbs but they’ve only appeared in RE4 and only Leon and Ada have canonically used them)
  • Damage Reduction (This comes from Blue Herbs but they don’t show up past Code: Veronica)

Character specific abilities

Chris Redfield

Jill Valentine

Ada Wong (Edit: I fogor)

  • Acrobatics (She flips and swings around from her grapple gun)

Albert Wesker

  • Acrobatics (Literally does spins and flips all the time)
  • Afterimage Creation (Shown here)
  • Social Influencing (Deception: fooled S.T.A.R.S into the Arklay Mansion. And Coercion: Forced Barry Burton to work with him by threatening his family)
  • Limited Telepathy (Shown here) (Quick explanation on how it works here)
  • Regeneration (High-Mid) (It's suggested that Wesker can regenerate from a tissue fragment, he hasn't showcased this level of regen so I'd suggest this to be rated as "Possibly" or "Likely") High-Mid overtime)
  • (Edit: Didn't know this existed) Pseudo-Teleportation (Because duh)
  • Resistant to Fire Manipulation (Shown here)

Claire Redfield

  • Danmaku (Able to use a Gatling Gun)
  • Acrobatics (Shown here)

Sheva Alomar

  • Pretty much gets the same things as Chris with the exemption of Danmku, Power Null and Analytical Prediction

Sherry and Jake (and maybe Ustanak too)

  • Resistant to Electricity Manipulation (Shown here)

Verdugo

  • Acrobatics (It can do flips)
  • Afterimage Creation (Shown here)

Idea on how to implement this

Most characters should get at least 2 keys to separate "Classic RE" (Where their best feat is crushing zombie heads and destroying crates) and "Modern RE" (Where they're now just fist fighting B.O.Ws). This applies to Chris Refield, Jill Valentine, Claire Refield, Rebecca Chambers, Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong.

Example:

Key: Games between RE1 to RE4 (In terms of canonical order) | After RE4 (By the time RE becomes action)
Tier: 9-B physically, higher with weaponry, 9-A with a Rocket Launcher | 9-A physically, 9-A with low calibre guns up to 8-C with high calibre guns and explosives, High 8-C with a Rocket Launcher
Speed: Peak Human travel speed with Supersonic combat speeds and reactions | Superhuman travel speed with Hypersonic combat speed and reaction
Durability: At most Small Building level | At most Building level
Stamina: Peak Human | Superhuman
Obviously this would vary between characters but I suggest this is how their profiles should look like.

Alright I think that's all...

Edit

We should give New-game+ and one-time-use weapons as Optional Equipment. (I think it would be cool if Ethan is given a lightsaber)

Agree: @Da3ggman (Neutral on Krauser’s durability), @Dark-Carioca, @Lightning_XXI, @HASE-1929, @Dalesean027, @TurtleGod55, @Dereck03
Disagree:
Neutral:

Neutral on this since I never played RE4, and I don’t really have an opinion on whether he actually took the explosion.

Obviously I agree, but I’ll make a proper Intelligence section for him when I get the time.
Tbh I think it should probably just be a straight upgrade, since it comes from an extremely reliable source in William, and there aren’t any canon anti-feats for it.

However, I also think it could count as Ressurection, since the translated text states that it can rebuild “ even if death results” from the damage.

Everything I didn’t comment on I agree with.

Oof, nice additions for the characters

Jill Valentine

Why would Jill scale to her P30 self ? She seems overall comparable to the other protagonists in Death Island, so I believe her current Post 2009 self should be listed as scaling from them, using her feats, but not P30, unless we have statements saying she kept all the upgrades

Also, in Jill's case, she should be "Post 2009" for her 3rd key

Albert Wesker

I don't think it's necessary, the feat seems to be an overtime regeneration given we don't have a timeframe and Wesker's feats are only at Low-Mid range, so we could just add "High-Mid overtime" while also adding the fact that it isn't guaranteed he will revive, as the statement says

I agre with the rest

Post 2009 Jill does scale to the other protagonists in Death Island, who invertedly scale to Jake Muller (At least Chris and Leon do).
I just reread my Jill sandbox profile, I have no clue why I wrote that so yeah I'll just rewrite it to say Jill scales to Chris and Leon

Not gonna lie shouldn't it be RE1 to RE3, and then RE4 onwards. Resident Evil 4 is easily more action oriented than anything seen in the previous games

No because Re umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles exist and those are before RE4 on the timeline, where Umbrella Chronicles has Chris still depicted in his RE1/ Code Veronica appearance.

Imo the RE4 feats should only be applicable to the second key onwards. But so far this is good

I also fine with High-Mid overtime especially since he's coming back in RE9 after 2 decades of being dead

Alright with that I think we can close this thread, there is definitely nothing more I can add, I'll apply these changes tomorrow (Unless there's a dedicated person to sort these things out). So unless there's something else to discuss here, we're good.

Thank you everyone helping out.
