Resident Evil Discussion Thread

i have seen people dunk on the new movie for not "feeling" like Resident Evil, the discourse made me remember how people were clowning on Resi7 when it was first announced, literally I was one of those dudes complaining it looked like an Outlast clone lol. Hopefully the movie is gonna be aight

Would scaling classic 1998 era weapons (magnums, shotguns,Grenade Launchers, etc) to the level of this Zombie Elephant work? 🤔
Like regardless of its comparatively higher feats it can be reliably beaten by survivors without access to rocket launchers or explosives anyways, so at the bare minimum I see grounds for upscaling those weapons.

I would like to receive feedback on potential improvements to the attack potency of the main characters (at least 90%), but please note that this calculation has not yet been officially verified:


Just the other day, I calculated the Attack potency of the explosive barrels from Resident Evil 6. I got a value equivalent to Building level. Ustanak can withstand at least several such explosions. The main characters are capable of stunning him. I provided all the scans in the blog.

I'd appreciate any input or feedback.

I’d argue that Ustanak can destroy them with its attacks and probably even more, we just need footage of it

The whole problem lies in the kinetic energy of running. For example, a tank shell penetrates five walls, and its energy is never restored. But while running between columns, Ustanak can accelerate again or push off with his legs to restore the initial energy after destroying one wall or column. His actual striking power may not equal the final result. Although he occasionally launches his mechanical arm, also destroying columns, but I haven't tried this option yet. I thought it would be better to show the Attack potency of barrels.

But in any case, today or tomorrow I'll check how many columns and walls Ustanak can destroy at once
 
Either ways Ustanak feat needs a recalc for dimensions and level of destruction, will post clips later but he outright pulverizes 50% of the pillars he hits ( dust and small particles visible whilst the remaining volume is half of the pillar.)

Just busting two going from what I’ve seen is enough for baseline 8-C with a metal arm swing
Can go up to ~350 kgs based on him destroying 3 pillars and two walls with his retractable arm extension.

Also he definitely has enough evidence for scaling to 1 ton durability, by combination of scripted turrent segments and by statements verbatim calling him indestructible makes him at least = strong enough to tank high caliber weapons indefenitely.
