Well this was already addressed in the VN. Mercurius even stated Ren was no match for him if he tried to attack him would be pointless.

we have to take into account that mercurius is omniscient and omnipresent. Ren isnt fully.

Didn't Ren win the Battle of 3 Colors at the end of Rea's route? At least that was he himself said, both at the end of the fight and as Lotus to Reinhard.

But well, Mercurius Law is freaking OP. Even if he is beaten, he will just keep comming back.

IIRC, Ren won because Reinhard was killing Mercurius with his existence (A p o p t o s i s), but was being murdered by both of them.
