I remember someone saying he was stopping himself from emanating in one of the last two routes because he realized sticking everything in a time stop was a horrible idea and wanted Marie to become throne god.
And I'm pretty sure he also wasn't emanating in the epilogue of Marie route, which was after he'd already gone Atziluth, so he seems capable of restraining it.

Sure, Reinhard was reincarnated as a priest or something. But Ren wasn't reincarnated as another person though. He was still the same guy, chatting away with Merc, not really aging seeing as he was still normal looking when Kasumi as an old woman, crying on seeing little loli Marie.
