Rei ogami vs Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider is too fast and durable for Ogami. Not to mention Ghost Rider's supposedly immune to fire, Ogami's primary method of attack, and Penance stare would completely obliterate Ogami.
 
I guess the black flames that negate superpowers will be really bad, but if GR manages to come close penance stare oneshots, otherwise i guess rei has the upper hand with his different flames (exspecially witzmh white flames who burn even nothingness itself)...
 
That might be hyperbole and/or outlier, but if it's not (which I hope it isn't) Ogami stomps with soul stealing illusion flames, and nothingness erasing flames. This match would probably be best with speed equalized, cause regardless of whether or not that feat is legit, this is a speed stomp one way or the other.

BTW, code breaker needs a big overall update maybe we should create a seperate content revision thread and go through all feats, the manga is not that long (230 ch) and even as MC ogami has maybe 7 or 9 notable fights, and others have far less)...

Heike moves at the speed of light, and Reggae Four Eyes was able to keep up pace with him, so they are roughly equal

Here Ogami is effortlessly blitzing Reggae Four Eyes. So Ogami is FTL.

you mean in the panel you posted? there was heike with his main body again, exspecially since no special power affects rare kinds in any way it is impossible for light clones to be useful at all...
 
I think it is more a figure of speech, like if someone says that he is "hotter than the sun" or "cooler than ice", "you need to be as fast as light "seems a fitting version exspecially since it came from a person proud of his speech :)

Considering his ability is the ability to manipulate light, it makes sense that he moves at the speed of light.

I mean the Code: Breaker wiki even states that one of Heike's powers is to move at the speed of light:

  • Speed of Light: Allows Heike to move at the speed of light, enabling Heike to cut bullets with his whip faster than others can react. When doing so, Heike's body shines brightly.
So yes. He becomes one with Light so to speak.
 
^imo the part of the "move at the speed of light" is baseless, the argument with the bulletcutting faster than others (who are even by a unrealistically far shot are at low-hypersonic) can react isnt really a convincing way to prove someones speed oflight movement :(

i would say that he has speed of light reaction/recognition speed but not movement, exspecially since yuuki was seen as really fast in-verse by simply being as fast as sound :/
 
Heikes ability is literally t9 move at the speed of light. They were just saying that going that fast allows him to react to bullets. They didnt say that was the reason for SoL feat.
 
^it is to manipulate light, there is a difference between the two, heike is able to attack at lightspeed and mostlikely has a reaction-feat at lightspeed but i doubt that movement counts too,

but this is only my opinion, make a content revision thread and let the majority decide if it is the case, than we can also upgrade the speed of rei and co ^_^

Okay I equalized speed since we don't have an agreement on Ogami's speed.
 
All right, then Rei wins by using black flames to defend and uses either his illusion or nothingness destroying flames to win.
 
we need at least 7 votes for either char (or was it 7 seven more votes than the opponent?) :)

PS: toarufan you should really make a content revision thread, im curious if rei really gets ftl speed :)
