Regarding the legitimacy of ASDF Character

I don't think it has gone unnoticed that a slew of profiles has been made during the course of the past weeks that have questionable quality, to say the least.

But this takes the cake. Where do I even begin? Besides the overall lack of effort put into giving the character meaningful stats, this is a composite of one-off gag characters. Yes, you heard me, this is a composite of one-off gag characters. I don't think I have to explain why this doesn't work in the slightest. Besides the fact that we don't composite characters like this anymore (RIP Composite Tree), this is the equivalent of taking all the Robot Chicken characters from every skit and making them one character.

Can someone please explain why this profile should stay on the site?

Well I think they shouldn't, especially given the ludicrous lack of consistency.

Yeah, a lot of these pages have been rubbing me the wrong way as well. A lot seem made with no justification (the composite ASDF character page is the worst offender here) and most don't seen to be part of a story other than a joke.

Even Cyanide & Happiness tends to make continuing stories.

Just "character from series" is probably wack, but characters that constantly show up like Mine Turtle or "EVERYBADY DO DA FLAP" should be solid enough

I dunno about the points of it not having a story, it's a series of gags that reuses notable characters and even has songs written after it, even if it doesn't particularly build to anything specific

It's like an episodic series to it's logical extreme, so I'm not entirely sure about outing them by default

I definitely don't like setting all stats to unknown by default, that's not something we do for any other verse under CRT

The point is that this profile is a composite of characters that should for all intents and purposes have individual profiles. I don't want to pull the intent card, but this just seems deliberate for the sake of inflating states and giving more powers and abilities to one character.

I'm personally ok if the Composite ASDF character gets deleted. I understand the reasons for why he would get deleted. I wasn't exactly sure if his page was good or not due to the fact most ASDF characters share similar abilities. And it did go off an assumption they share the same. But it's nothing solid. And I'm ok with deletion on it

I feel the composite page shouldn't stay. But others should, such as the "do the flop" kid, and mine turtle. whilst there isn't much of a story for them, there's at least something, the series isn't 100% storyless for some of the characters, sure, most characters are one of jokes, and I dunno about them, but recurring characters have gained story through stuff like songs.
