Regarding Link's downgrade

So I was just wondering why Link got downgraded from Small Star Level?

I cannot find the thread where he got downgraded.

It was in the two threaded Link downgrade. Anyway, it's because we decided that because it was a non story weapon of a non canon game, it would cause a ton of controversy.

I forgot to ask where the feat even came from in the first place.

I'm not a Zelda expert, so don't quote me on this, but I believe it was from Hyrule Warriors, in which one of Link's attacks allowed him to flip the screen (and thus the planet) with the help of the Golden Gauntlets.
