Regarding "false mwi" being a thing now?

"False" MWI probably means those generic macro-branching in verses where timeline branches due to a major decision by a character, or just verses that say "MWI!" as well as having infinite parallel universes or something but don't actually model it after the L1C variant AlipheeseXIV talks about. Though, as he said, it is probably not the correct word as there's no single agreed upon "true" MWI either (from a physics point, I don't know what's the standard for a "true" MWI here).

2-A here likely refers to the physical aspect of MWI, whereas Low 1-C is probably talking about the higher-dimensional Configuration Space representing the positions of particles

No clue how id contact Qaw for clarification so I'm just praying they see this
So text will use Many Worlds Interpretation, but there's a disconnect between what it means scientifically and what it meas in a fiction.

In science, MWI is saying that all possible positions in particle waveforms are all equally true and create realities where each individual result happens. This amounts to an infinite number of realities which in turn becomes a recursive infinite, since each of the infinite universes generates more infinite universes across an infinite length of time. That is why MWI can be considered Low 1-C, since you get an uncountable infinite number of universes.

Most works however, use MWI as either a conscious choice (go left vs go right) or probability outcomes (Universe A you succeed at a die roll, Universe B you fail). This can generate an infinite number of universes, since you have a finite number multiplied infinitely. But it does not generate an uncountable infinite number of universes.

So if a work uses MWI it doesn't mean that it's Low 1-C. You have to show that it uses that waveform outcome Interpretation.

Thanks for this explanation. I get it now
