An update to Shaula's page since her primary arc is being adapted in Season 4, coming soon.

Shaula's Current Page

My Sandbox

I'm downgrading her AP from 6-C to At least 7-A. She was made 6-C because in the Tsugihagu IF story, Shaula killed Roswaal off-screen. But given we know nothing about this encounter, Shaula specializes in sniping, and Roswaal is physically 7-A, it's not enough for her to scale. She also has antifeats for 6-C in Tsugihagu IF — Garfiel (very start of his second key) can deflect Hell's Snipe at a distance, and fight her in close quarters even though Shaula was far superior, he even blocked her initial kick. She also has no scaling above 7-A in the canon story, she's just much stronger than the likes of Emilia and Julius. Emilia even fought her scorpion form.

I've also removed the divide in stats between her humanoid and scorpion forms, it's simply not implied that one has better stats than the other.

This is the revised P&A:
Humanoid:

Crimson Scorpion:
Same as before, minus Danmaku. Plus;

Resistances:

I removed poison resistance since the scene used to justify her eating poisonous witchbeasts says verbatim that witchbeasts aren't poisonous, they simply taste like sand and sewage.
Julius: “According to certain records, there were a few researchers who had set out to eat Witchbeast meat in the past.”

As Subaru undid the wrinkles between Beatrice’s brows with his fingers, Julius brought up an interesting piece of information.

As everyone’s expressions urged him to continue after he stopped, Julius closed one eye and began anew,

Julius: “As you are already aware, Witchbeasts have a habit of attacking people. Be it in the middle of their march or during a long journey, if one were hard-pressed enough for food, they could find Witchbeasts aplenty, wandering within dangerous territories. After all, they never think of hiding. Witchbeasts will always come to attack. If one defeats them, then it was obvious that a good source of food would be obtained. There should be no doubt that there were individuals who truly thought this.”

Subaru: “Well, did that go end well for them?”

Julius: “To improve their situation for nourishment, they apparently faced many twists and turns, went through much trial and error. However, no such improvement was found. Of course, those who ate it found it to not be poisonous but…”

Subaru: “But?”

Julius: “It seems there was a problem with the taste.”

Subaru looked amazed, that it turned out to be a problem of taste.

If it tasted bad, then it was fine to cover it up with various spices or other condiments. It was true that the meat of wild beasts had this raw and earthy taste, but if it wasn’t poisonous, then they ought to have at least tried a bit harder.

Julius: “That was as far as it was recorded in literature. Miss Shaula, what is your personal experience with it?”

Shaula: “It tastes like sand that’s been rinsed in sewage water. Totally.”

Subaru: “Ah, it’s the kind where spices won’t help.” —Arc 6, Chapter 31, "An Encouragement of Cooperation in the Tower"

And lastly her notable attacks and techniques have been rewritten, added images for them too:
  • Hell's Snipe:Shaula's signature technique, invented by her master Flugel. Shaula can summon magical white stingers and fire them with unbelievable speed and accuracy. The stinger produces extreme heat and light, appearing as a flash that evaporates whatever it hits. It's noted that Hell's Snipe has an abnormal amount of mana poured into each shot, considering how rapidly it can be fired in succession. This technique also has a built-in laser-pointer for accurate sniping.
    • Infinite Hell's Snipe: An advanced varient of Hell's Snipe, Shaula can manifest nearly a hundred "gunport" magic circles in the air, aim them as she pleases, and have all of them fire a Hell's Snipe each.
  • Crimson Scorpion:Whenever the Pleiades Watchtower's rules were broken, Shaula's contract forced her to transform into her original Witchbeast form— a titanic scorpion. The scorpion is as big as an elephant, its black carapace is hard as iron, it possesses extremely dangerous pincers, and a tail with a stinger that could fire Hell's Snipe at will. Shaula's humanity is nowhere to be found within this Witchbeast, it is a "cold-hearted killing-machine".
    • Explosive Autotomy: The titanic scorpion practiced autotomy when attacked, severing a pincer or its tail and fleeing. This is a trap however, as the severed bodypart will soon explode with extreme force, heat, and light.
    • Regeneration: To account for its strategy of autotomy, the titanic scorpion can regenerate its pincers and even its whole tail relatively quickly, and it even regenerates from accumulated damage as it battles. However, this isn't so rapid as to render severing its limbs or tail ineffective.
    • Attack Hue: When pushed to its limits or filled with rage, the titanic scorpion, like other Witchbeasts, will shift into its attack hue. The monster's carapace heats up and is dyed a bright red, earning the Witchbeast its name "Crimson Scorpion", and it becomes far more aggressive. Alongside this aggression, the Crimson Scorpion becomes more powerful, its Hell's Snipe stinger empowered so as to be capable of blowing away everything around itself.
    • Jesus Scissors Hellfire Form: A technique of the Crimson Scorpion, whereby its carapace heats up dramatically and concentrates the heat in its pincers, imbuing them with temperature than distorts the atmosphere and enhances its powerful blows.

That's about it, please tell me any corrections i should make to her profile.

It's good, but why do we keep mentioning the Reid stuff on the profile? It's obvious at this point she doesn't scale to him, so I don't see the reason to entertain it anymore.
Looking at volume 22, it also seems to be a cut line. She now just says he's unkillable, he bullied the weak because everyone in the world was weak to him, and when asked if he had any weaknesses or habits she said "That guy has no weak points. Oh! But he did have a habit of scratching his ass while I tried to kill him!"

Arakia on Cecilus type shi

Anyways, does she really have NO skill stuff at all???

The downgrade seems fine, but could someone elaborate on how the scorpion form is considered?

If it was never implied to be stronger why was that ever on the profile?

The stats were split between humanoid & scorpion to account for the scorpion's "anti-feats". Shaula was 6-C for killing Roswaal, and hadn't been seen fighting the main cast, but in her scorpion form she was very clearly not massively stronger than the 7-A main cast. With the downgrade, these are no longer "anti-feats" for the scorpion, just feats.

Thank you for the attempt but I think I'm actually more confused now.

😭 Ok ok so;
  1. Shaula was made 6-C for killing Roswaal (who is 6-C with magic) off-screen.
  2. This tiering was contradicted by the fact that in her scorpion form, Shaula clashed with 7-As without completely overpowering them.
  3. The solution was to assume Shaula was simply stronger in her humanoid form, so she was made 6-C and her scorpion form made 7-A.
  4. With this new downgrade, the tier split is no longer necessary since A) One form doesn't have a significantly better feat than the other and B) No in-story information suggests the two forms have different stats.
How's that?

I understand completely now, thank you.

In that case I think the proposal here definitely makes sense, and is more consistent.
