First off, Yoriichi is far more skilled so he'd dominate her in close range combat. And second off, both of your links above lead to Yoriichi's page.

However I don't believe he can harm her. Yoriichi greatly upscales from baseline 8-A or 100 Tons, but that still is an unknown amount higher than 100 Tons.

Raven is scaling above something that took no damage from a 249 Tons attack, and the 249 Ton end is also a low ball in of itself. Raven is more durable than the Queen Lancer which took 249 Tons without a scratch, and is stronger than the early Volume 5 Arma Gigas which defeated the Queen Lancer.

Without a multiplier, Yoriichi can't upscale above 249 Tons. So I do not believe he has the stats to even defeat Raven, even though he is much more skilled.

Raiden can't really damage her either. I have no idea how the HF Blade would even interact with Aura and he's weaker than the explosion that the Queen Lancer No Sold, so....

Not if he can't even hurt her which we're trying to figure out. Either way, she can One-Shot him if she hits him.

That isn't how it works. If Aura doesn't have feats of being capable of defending from such attacks, than it cannot stop those attacks.

This has been argued many times whenever Raiden is put against a RWBY character. While people are split on it, I think someone needs to actually come to an conclusion on this. Or am I mistaken and people already found an answer to this?

I personally don't believe Aura should protect from hax it's never been shown to block. We should stick to it's actual showings, instead of giving Aura an ability it doesn't have, or giving the HF blades a weakness that isn't told. Also Aura isn't made out of peoples souls. Their soul makes a barrier, but the barrier isn't the soul itself.

Aura is a physical barrier that can interact with things, can be touched and hit. I feel like if the HF blade doesn't actually go through their Aura, it would probably cause rapid and constant damage when in contact with it.

Well Blade Mode would probably be no bueno for Raven given it likely could degrade Aura really fast in that case

If the HF really can Insta-Gib Aura then Raiden Stomps even though he gets One-Shot and Stone Walled otherwise.
