If you're talking about EE/BFR, Snake Spirit is optional equipment, but the Wooden Blade is Standard equipment. He doesn't need that here anyway.

I mean, what the hell is a blade that you have to buy separately from the store and that replaces your main weapon considered standard equipment? It doesn't even appear in the story; that's a fundamentally flawed idea. Boss weapons and Raiden's main sword are standard equipment. Everything else is optional.

Doesn't actually replace them, those weapons are hidden by stealth camouflage. It's a hard to pick up detail, but it's there.

It doesn't replace? He can swap them on the fly, they just go invisible when put away, same way the boss weapons do. Admitting those are standard is just saying everything is for the most part. You have to buy boss weapons from Doc too, what makes them ok but not this other thing he bought from Doc that has lore and in-universe yap about?
