They could, but it's one of a lot of options in GGesom's arsenal to stall (on top of the normal method of just running in the opposite direction at a consistent pace, since self BFR is banned in VS matches)
I might solidly vote for GGesom at this point, even when he's got Beldum charging directly at him he still has a little bit of leeway, and if he made less mistakes he could probably outright end the fight at the right opportunities, or at least make it a bit easier to stall out for the powernull

Well given the fact which opponent faces GGesom next, it won't be so "GG" anymore
