Question about Tokyo Ghoul upgrade

I saw that Tokyo Ghoul has been upgraded, and I have a question regarding the speed calculations. In the MHS+ (Massively Hypersonic+) scaling, the speed of the attack is considered to be that of lightning. However, as someone pointed out in the comments,and based on what's shown in the manga,it’s never actually stated that the attack is a lightning bolt, only that it involves electricity. Despite this, the calculation uses the speed of lightning. So I wanted to ask: why was this accepted?
 
I just noticed that a speed that respects that of electricity was used, no problem then
