Question about tiering

I have 2 very honest questions about tiering that I would like to get honest answers from so in the future I can better help myself concerning it and won't make the same mistakes.

First Question-

Say we have a 2-C character. But not just any 2-C. An extremely high end 2-C who is stronger than other high end 2-Cs, who's stronger than other 2-C's, etc. 2-Cs who are either at or near the absolute end of 2-C. Basically like Pontos from Seint Seiya for example. But then we have other high end 2-C who are exactly as strong as Pontos is. And then those high end 2-Cs combine their power together into one being incredibly more powerful. Would that be enough to jump tiers? Or would it still just be 2-C? And why?

Second Question-

Now lets say we have a computer/device. A very advanced one that measures someones level of power. Then suddenly the character becomes unbelievebly stronger to the point where the device says that character has an infinite level of power..........would this be legit or no? And if not, why not? I currently brought something like this up and was told it wouldnt work or be accepted but I do not see the reason why. I see many here who seem to be okay with things like this happening as in fiction, "anything is possible" and if a verse that is beyond the logic of our world has something like this occur, then wouldnt it be alright to use?

If others could answer this it would help me a lot. Thank You.

1. Depends on how "extremely high end" the 2-C is. Apparently the gap between Low 2-C and 2-C is large enough that we don't even consider people who can control timelines with a mere breath/heartbeat or those that can one shot multiple other Low 2-Cs as 2-C. So I doubt unless under a very severe case would a tier jump happen due to something like that.

2. If the device can be deemed extremely knowledgable/reliable and this does not contradict any other showings or feats, then presumably yes.

Ahh kk now I understand.

Though wouldnt that be a different case? If a reliable computer shows a character has infinite power, then wouldnt it hold more wait then just merely stating they have it?

Try a reality warping genie computer who has no reason to lie about Kirby's power given that he was trying to kill him.

And try every other showing in the entire series, including that very game and other statements made in the game directly contradicting its statement.

The freaking Beyonder measured Hulk's power as infinite. If that's not getting considered no way this should be.

2. Theoretical scenarios like this are hard to judge. Given sufficient explanation and reasonable support of something, most stuff is imagineable.

But no matter how advanced a computer or similar is there is such a thing is a highest finite value it can calculate. That is just how physical computers are.

Anything with a finite screen also has a maximum value it can display and the maker has to account what happens with numbers above that.

For cases where expected values are exceeded something has to be defaulted to and infinite is one solution.

Like if you input something really large into this calculator it will approximate it with infinite, even though being a pretty accurate calculator.

So infinite on measureing devices usually just means above the expected values.

Too inteligent computers are also capable of hyperbole...

That infinite power also won't match up with actual feats, if you actually have to rely on a computer to argue it, is another problem that comes with the question very naturally.

Hmm...well then I'll ask this but it might not change much.

What if the verse had technology that was incredibly more advanced than earthly technology (basically from aliens) and in that verse their earthly technology was more advanced than our own to the point where it could calulcate things and do stuff we could never acomplish?

@Ryu. I'm sure you're aware as you're intelligent, but I was just a little worried. I'm not trying to claim infinite Kirby.

@Cal I linked to a thread where you said you disagreed with Infinite Power Kirby. Of course I know that lol. I was just trying to make a jestful response to what you said ovo

Even highly advanced computers can be hyperbole as they cannot judge infinity.
