Question about Regenerationn

Si I was wondering, like if a character has let's say Mid Godly regen, Can he regenerate after let's say, having his head cut off or his heart pierced, or can he only regenerate if he's erased from existence?

Basically I'm asking if lower Regenerationn stack up on higher ones? Like if someone Can regenerate from his ashes, does that mean he will also have lower regen, like regrowing limbs?

Depends on the character

For example the Emperor of Mankind has mid-godly but it does actually require him to recieve that level of damage to be able to regenerate

So If I can regenerate from being erased from existence, that doesn't mean I can regenerate from getting beheaded as well?

Man, seems like some higher level of Regenerationn is kind of useless in some cases.
