"The First Turtle War lasted less than a moon's turn. Sar Mell was raided and burned, yet emerged victorious when Rhoynish water wizards called up the power of the river and flooded Volon Therys. Half the city was washed away, if the tales tales can be believed[...]Cities and towns were burned, drowned and rebuilt."

Which AP ?

How big is the city? Assuming it's a fantasy setting, those cities are usually quite small - and since it says half a city, so imma say small town level/low 7-C

And for towns/cities that have been completely destroyed, would it still give small town or town level?
PS: we don't know anything about the size of the cities, except that one of them, Chroyane, was the biggest of all.

It depends on how long it took the flood. If it happened instantly, then you might need a clac, but otherwise, would be much higher than low 7-C

In terms of size I think the city of Chroyane can be compared to King's Landing, which has 500,000 inhabitants (Chroyane is the largest city in the Rhoyne and Tyrion believes the city palace was ten times the size of the Red Keep.)

For the floods, we don't know at all if it was instantaneous, but what is certain is that it didn't take more than a day (since even Chroyane was destroyed in one night).

The city of the city seems slightly higher than regular towns from inhabitants population - at least where I live.

So, my initial assessment still stands. Although time difference... That could make a big difference

Possibly yes.

Although if you are planning on making a file, I would get that calced if possible. If not, then should be listed "up to Low 7C with Environmental Destruction"

George R. R. Martin stated that King's Landing is larger than Medieval London or Paris but smaller than Medieval Constantinople or Ancient Rome
Yes :
"In very general terms, however... King's Landing is more populous than medieval London or Paris, but not so populous as medieval Constantinople or ancient Rome."

But 1 year later in ASOS, it says that King's Landing has 500,000 inhabitants, but I don't know the number for the populations of Ancient Rome or Medieval Constantinople (at the time they gave 700,000 to 800,000 inhabitants but it was seen as an exaggeration)
