Let's say a character already has a soul, but that soul is just the body for another soul of said character, a deeper one, which exists independently of the normal soul. Would this be immortality type 9?

8, unless it's proven to be independent from the world the soul body is in. But you also need proof of regen or res for both types due to that deeper soul.

No, it's not a deeper soul. Let's take Orihime for example, she is a human with a physical body with a soul in the living world, but when she goes in the Soul Society her physical body get transmuted into Reishi(Spiritual matter), her soul doesn't undergo under any change, it's still a regular soul that can be manipulated by using a regular soul manipulation.

Does the character come back to reality if all things including the inner soul are destroyed? if so sure I guess

if the character doesnt ressurect or regen but his inner soul just continues existing, I don't think it qualifies for the same reason as physically killing a man and having his soul remain unharmed doesnt give the man Immortality

That is not the real Bleach Wiki. Please do not cite a wiki with this as its opening message:

"For all who don't know, I am also known as kyoraku08 in the "fanfic world". I created this wiki to gather all the information from my fanfiction "Bleach: The Three Phantoms" in one place. This wiki's objective, as well as the fanfiction's, is to gather all Bleach media and fit it together in a way to make everything as "canon" as possible. Hope to have some help, but only if it is really help. I ask all who edit to talk with me first, as this is about my fanfic and in the end no one knows it better than I do. Thanks in advance."

You are citing literal fanfiction.

Here's the actual wiki with the Senkaimon section

Also, would you believe me if I said this isn't the first time I've had to deal with someone citing a fanfiction wiki for Bleach?

If by inner soul, you mean the deeper one, no. But if merely the normal soul is destroyed, yes they do come back.

The character reincarnates, with their normal soul also being different, just like their body, but the more fundamental soul stays the same
