Question about Bleach soul physiology

According to the soul physiology page, most souls in Bleach have resistance against corruption, corruption in this case involving statistics reduction, poison, and death manipulation. Does this flat-out give those characters resistance to death manipulation as well? From the way the manga page it give as an example is worded, it sounds like it just gives resistance to corruption that eventually results in death.

So if a character who has no problem interacting with shinigami uses a technique that immediately induces death, would the Bleach character resist it?
