Count Dooku is a really bad example because Anakin in his prime utterly destroyed him by himself once he mastered the force.

Obi Wan is due to Anakin being overly controlled by his emotions, something the films constantly point out.

So? He can use both. Them not being the same is irrelevant

Besides, unless Shulk has literally never had a threat in his life, then these examples apply to him as well, voting the infamous "ILL KILL YOU" line when one of his friends got hurt in the mech.

Legends Anakin stomped Dooku only after unleashing his anger and hatred not by mastering the force before he and Obi-Wan were unable to do much.

This also covers Anakin's precog not working on a simple kick from Dooku also an AOE from the Monado would logically be more effective even more so if you want to argue that it is homing due to being able to hit the Telethia who could read Shulk's mind to know his every move.

I'm not saying he can't use both but again Anakin's mind hax =/= Precognition it be similar to saying that a Force Choke would be relevant to his precognition.
