• Matter Manip: Yes. It's one guy's opinion on what's happening but seems to be the case.
• Transmutation: Doesn't seem to be the case, from what he says this is a specific thing on diamonds done via toon force.
• Intangibility & Dimensional Travel: Yes

Pre-Crisis Superman has some crazy feats which are done due to some insane logic. Rubbeding a diamond the wrong way to turn it into coal is a good example.
