He could borrow some from his parents or attic/basement/storage though. Most likely it's pipe bombs (if he somehow knows how to make them) or huge amounts of firecrackers/fireworks

Are fireworks/crackers really going to put the figure down? Even if they explode in a normal persons face they usually aren't lethal. Oftentimes they just cause bleeding/burns and even in particularly extreme cases they just take out an eye most of the time. The chance of death in a fireworks accident is quite literally 1 in 1,250, plus a direct hit isn't even guaranteed either if they're being set off from a distance, and i doubt david will want to be anywhere near his opponent. Especially when you're dealing with someone like Figure i doubt this is a practical way to win.

There are some different types of firecrackers/fireworks though. Some of them can reach that high, which is an overkill for a Figure. Also why do David needs to be near Figure, if that explosion would harm/kill him as well? I think he won't be that dumb and would try to launch them from the distance, throw them, lure it in the traps and etc

I didn't mean right in his face lmao, i meant close enough to the point where aiming could be feasible.

Well I never said fireworks can't kill, they just very often don't if they explode near someone, and figure is clearly much better at handling ordinarily deadly things happening to him than a person. Also, just because some can be Wall tier doesn't make them a win-button. I'm pretty sure those stronger ones are pretty much exclusively reserved for shows or actual experts, and if there's any distance between the target and the gunpowder exploding at all then that already significantly decreases the energy being applied to them due to the inverse square law, so off the bat there's zero room for error if you try to use them against anyone. And being a tier above isn't even a guaranteed oneshot to begin with especially if you don't hit something vital.

You also need to assume that David even has access to fireworks at all, that they are more powerful than one's built for normal people to use (Which already don't normally kill), that he knows how to light them sideways whilst being actively hunted down by an 8 foot tall monstrosity, and that he can somehow do that without making a noise whilst carrying them and the stuff needed to set them off in the first place. Firecrackers are also even less useful
