It's currently used to denote a value above the arithmetic mean of the upper and lower ends of a tier, but wouldn't it be better to use the geometric mean? Generally in vs battles we consider how many times more powerful a character is proportionally, so it'd make a lot more sense.


For instance, an SS+ character is at minimum 500,000,000,000x stronger than a baseline but less than 2x weaker than a Multi-SS character under the current system, but if we were to use the geometric mean an SS+ character would be 1,000,000x stronger than an SS character and 1,000,000x weaker than a Multi-SS character which makes a lot more sense to me.
 
While this would be better, it means we would have to browse through ALL the profiles with calcs to determine if they fit the new requirements or not, which is way too much work for little benefits.
