Well... They both seem to be around the same in AP, but the main advantage I see for the blocky boi is that he has Low Mid to recover, and considering this is mostly just a hand to hand ordeal, that seems like a big enough factor to side with.

Just like in canon SAO though, regen is weaker the stronger the enemy is, and since they're about equal in AP, the regen is basically null'd here. Also Kagachi could attack faster than what bl0cky boy here can regen anyways.

Trust me, regen in SwordBurst takes forever if you're the same level as your enemy.

Kagachi kiiiinda knows how to abuse range, sooo. Plus blocking wastes hella a lot of stamina, to the point where just a few hits (about 2-5) gets it to 0 stamina, and the blocking's gone.

Kagachi doesn't really abuse Range. He only used his Snek on the gunners way way far away, everyone else he just ahnihlated with his sword.
