Don't get me wrong, while the highest Deadlift World Record is still 545 kilograms (I think), the actual highest amount of force generating during the 'Clean and Jerk' part of the lift is 8,000 Newtons, making it Class 1.
It's similar to how the speed of Usain Bolt's World Record Run is lower than the peak speed he achieved during the run- 37.58 km/h Vs 44.72 km/h- and since we use the latter (not the former) for the upper bound of Peak Human Speed, shouldn't the max force exerted during the World Record Deadlift follow the same rule?
Plus, the Leg Press world record is 1,120 kilograms, making Peak Leg Lifting Strength Class 5...
Is this gonna be another Wall level thing where the boundary has to be raised, or is everyone already aware of this?
