Paradise City Part 5

"My Stand's the best close-quarters fighter here. I can't afford to not get involved.'

"Alright, alright, let's go, we'll grab something to eat on the way to the location."

Nicholas says as he heads to the exit.

Michael follows suit, averting his eyes to the man one last time before leaving through the door.

"While I wanna say you're being overly paranoid Michael I don't think I can... not with all that's happened recently" Otto says as he looks out at the rain.

"You don't trust him?" Stephanie asked with a frown as she stepped outside, putting her hands over her head to protect her from the rain. "He doesn't seem that bad."

Michael didn't appreciate getting soaking wet, but if anything it got the last few traces of sleep deprived tiredness out of his system.

"Think about it: a file on a man deemed "too dangerous to kill" conveniently washed up on a lightly manned and protected location, all for us to find. And he's a Stand user as well, the first we've seen not from the organization. And he just conveniently happens to have another location ready for us to raid. Doesn't that raise any red flags for you?"

"Well, glad to know we came all this way for some of us to have trust issues," Stephanie spoke in an annoyed tone. "So, what do you want to do then? Not go there? We don't have any other leads."

"We might as well go there, though we should remain prepared in the case of something happening. While I don't think this is a trap, that possibility remains regardless. I do agree some things seemed quite convenient in this, however that Stand at the tower seemed quite insistent on us not getting anything from there, so perhaps the information is real after all, considering that lead us here."

"I'm not saying we don't go there. I'm saying we have to be careful. I'd like to think I know shit when I smell it, and that guy's entire story was reeking."

"It's highly unluckily that the clues that bringer is here were intentionally put there by the organization, as:

They would have attacked us at the tower if they knew we had found the diary.

Next, we rapidly went in and out of the tower, then to the [Insert place we found hit list], which would't have gave them enought time to modify the list"

"I'm just saying we should be careful with our next move," Michael said, his face now a stone wall of annoyance. "Also, I think I'm good enough to drive now." He finished as he turned to Nicholas.

"Alright, go ahead. We'll stop by and eat on the way there then, I suppose."

Nicholas enters the RV and sits down at the back.

"I don't know how you guys can even think so much of food in this situation," Michael said as he took the wheel.

"When I'm stressed or in a tough situation i can go days without eating. Should've seen how much i scared my old college roommates. I won't debate you on that second one though," Michael said as he started up the car. "Mind helping with the map a bit Nick? I can't figure this ******* city out for the life of me."

Michael has Shoot to Thrill phase through the window and try to grab the paper.

The paper contains an address, with a scrawling on the bottom saying

"I forgot to tell you where the warehouse actually is."

"Dumbass..." Michael muttered under his breath, not even giving lip service to the idea that they themselves had rushed so soon as to forget to actually ask him.

After getting some food and a bit of driving in the rain, the place is in sight. It's a small warehouse, only a single floor and a roof made of tin. It seems inactive.
