Overlord VS What-if: Clementine vs Gazef

Crazy bitch claims that royal Knight is one of only like five people that are a match for her, but she unfortunately dies to a random freak encounter before she can actually fight dude, so let's see if we can figure it out.

• Fight happens in the graveyard where Clem fought Ainz
• Gazef is in possession of the Kingdom's Treasures and is basically on an execution mission.
• Both are standing ten meters apart and possess only Canon knowledge about each other.
• Victory via death or incap

hamsuke vs go gin, gazef vs go gin, clementine vs go gin or mabye evil eye vs go gin (battle of the least used characters.). i think go gin should see more use and i don´t think hes in the scaling chain, so its all good.

Ainz said he was equal to Go Gin in strength as a warrior iirc

considering Ainz was gonna one-shot Clem as a warrior, i think the answer is obvious

i wouldn't say they were equal, go gin sent ainz flying (he actually did it a few times i think.) and ainz only beat him after using enchanted items iirc, and clementine wouldn't have been one shot due to the strength difference she would have been one shot due to ainzs sword (i believe piecing by passes dura to some extent.) + she was wearing little to no armour + ainzs strength.

it's just a sword made from high quality stuff in context to the NW

being sent flying isn't really a point against them being relatively equal in strength, Ainz is literally just a skeleton, while Go Gin is a massive towering troll. The weight difference must be pretty big, so a hit from Ainz isn't gonna move Go Gin as much as a hit from Go Gin to Ainz

also, you said she wouldn't be one-shot from strength difference, but then mention Ainz's strength as a factor

her wearing little armor has no bearing here, since she would be wearing the same amount of armor in a fight against Go Gin

its a sword. all swords pierce. piercing isnt some magical attribute. any and all sharp objects possess piercing capabilities. here are its definitions:

(of a sharp pointed object) go into or through (something).

make (a hole) with a sharp instrument.

bore a hole or tunnel through.

force or cut a way through.

any of those sound like something a sword does? if so then its pierces, stuff that pierces bypasses dura. which is why a character has to be atleast 8-C to be bullet proof despite normal guns being only 9-C.

except it is. if someone hits someone of equal strength neither go flying, they may stagger a bit but thats about it. equal strength would be if neither could push the other back. like if two sword fighters are fighting their swords clash and get locked the weaker one will be pushed back. if they were equal neither would move they would stay locked until one made a move.

because it is a factor just not the sole factor.

if she was wearing more armour she would be more durable, thats how it works, thats like combat 101. and in all honesty im not even entirely certain what your trying to get at here.

Clementine vs Hamsuke is a very different matchup than Clementine vs Go Gin. Go Gin's Regenerationn alone makes it extremely difficult for Clementine to beat him. Unless she has time to prepare beforehand, she probably won't have more than one fire-infused weapon. She only has one shot at beating Go Gin, while Go Gin has a huge strength advantage and martial arts of his own. She definitely has a chance to win if she can manage to release a fireball in his head, but that won't happen more often than not.

Clementine is confirmed Hero level. Gazef is described both by Gagaran and his own character bio sheet as having only "a foot in the realm of Heroes."

Gazef can only win with the Kingdom Treasures. Without them he loses, and even if he somehow did win, it'd be by the skin of his teeth and he'd likely be 25 seconds aay from death, himself.
