For context: Alex Mercer has summoning and creating beings listed in his profile, and the summoning/creation involves infecting humans in the background to summon/create those beings. He’s also the type of character that assimilates humans in the environment to aid him in combat, something which other characters such as The Thing does and still have the matchups being valid enough to be added to their profiles. SBA also mentions that outside influence/help can be used only if either summoning or such are explicitly listed in the character’s profiles or that it’s generally mentioned in the character profiles, which I think it is for Alex Mercer’s profile.
