Order's Last Stand (Part 1)

"Finally, it's over. As much as I'd like to deal with this annoyance, he might be our key to figuring out what we're doing here and how to get out of here."

"As long as he doesn't try to attack us again, yes. He said something about a boss of some kind. We should find out who that is."

Okashina glared down at Merak, growling with anger and hunger. K. Rool licked his teeth as both archosaurs stared down their enemy with a glare that would drop an elephant if looks would kill. "This is why you don't mess with the King!" K. Rool stated proudly, flexing his right arm as he smirked confidently. "I've got half a mind to make you our next meal, but I suppose I can allow our colleagues to make some use of you beforehand."

"That makes sense, interrogating him would be the best course of action." 2B says to Ava.

"Okay I guess we should probably get information out of him before anything else." Ava responds

I rub the spots where the lasers hit my body.

Man, that sucked. I think I'll let the others take care of the interrogation.

Chrome: "You're all being mean to this kid."

While everyone else is deciding what to do with Merak. Johan is continuing to look at his reflection.

Right now it seems to be perfectly normal, but he could've sworn that there was an abnormality previously.

"Hey, hey. I just work because I need money. Without money, I can't eat, live anywhere, or buy videogames. Even with my Septima, living on the streets would suck. Espesially now."

"Gah, we get it!" K. Rool snapped at Merak. "Your life sucks! Boo freakin' hoo!" Grabbing Merak's leg, Okashina lifted him up as he eyed his catch hungrily. "So, do we interrogate this guy now, or are Okashina and I gonna have ourselves a snack?" K. Rool asked as he glanced back at the others.

I have Red Mage cast healing magic on everyone who was damaged.

I then grab Merak by the neck and lift him up in the air.

"Now, where the hell are we, and how do we get out?"

"Just to make sure." Phoenix gestures to Haseo, who then looks towards Merak and points his hand at him. "I had Haseo use an item to seal your powers, you'll get them back if I'm sure you're no longer a threat to us."

"AAAAAAAAAHHH! Hey! Stop it! Look, I can help you guys! For some dumb reason, my boss actively encorages betrayal. Something about chaos being the way of the universe or something! Now put me dooooooooooown!"

"Hmm," K. Rool huffed after hearing Merak's answer, somewhat disappointed he could help. "I'd much rather eat him now and save ourselves the trouble, but alright, if he really can help us."

"So, speak up. Who is your boss? Why were you after us and how did we get here in the first place?"

Merak, after being put down, shook his head and stood up.

"Geez. I thought you liked bananas or something. Anyway, like I said, my boss actively encourages betrayal. Well, not my boss specifically but the boss of the entire, well, it's forbidden to call it an "organization" so I really don't know what to call it. Basically it's a bunch of people who are loosely assosiated with one another and one guy tells us what to do."

"Basically I really don't know much of anything about the boss. He really doesn't waste his time with grunts like me. But, I do know some of the boss' enemies. I'd assume you'd want to associate yourself with them."

"That's something at least, who are these enemies? Also you still haven't told us why you were sent after us or how we got here."

"I was sent to kill you. 'Hey, Merak, kill these people next to this cliff at the edge of the universe'. That's all I was told. As for the enemies, there's one that's actually pretty close to us. This universe really breaks reality. Even going at an infinite speed you couldn't get through the whole thing, so the fact that their close is really important. In fact, they actually are on this very planet today. The only reason I know that is because a few assassins were sent to kill their leader and my wormholes were used to help them get in position. They arn't supposed to attack for another hour or so, so we have time to get there."

"Fine, I'll take a risk and trust you, it doesn't seem like you're particularly loyal to that organization of yours. Remove the seal." Haseo points his hand at Merak, using another item, the effect sealing his powers is gone.

"I'm not an assassin. I mean the assassins the boss sent. We don't wanna be seen by them."

"Eh, true I guess. Anyways, these assassins are seriously scary. I don't even think they talk."

[Hey, you don't know how skilled we are. Also I'm gonna guess Callidus, probably not Vindicare since I doubt those would need to be snuck in, also we wouldn't be "getting there" if they were Vindicares since those dudes could easily be on another planet or something and Eversors have that Low 5-B thing.]

[I plan for there to be a Vindicare, but it is mostly Callidus. Also their mostly going to messing with the group itself and less so us]
