At chapter 99, we were shown the existence of spirits and spirit world in OPM. Which Phoenix Man also states the existence of Shamans and talk about their story a little.
At chapter 100, We have also heard about underworld as well, which Phoenix Man summoned the souls of the dead from there to their bodies.
Spirit world's spiritual existence is already guaranteed as it's quite literally called "spirit world" and how it's what shamans use. (How it is to comminucate gods and spirits and stuff). Shamans are based on real life, fully connected to spirituality. Not just that but we know it's spiritual as Phoenix Man summoned the souls of the dead from underworld. Common shamanic belief is that spirit world has three section which underworld is the one of them.
As a soul while inside the spirit world, Phoenix Man says they are 思念體 (thought body) and states he connected their 精神 (mind/spirit). Also talks(Not just talk but showing him in his mind) telepathically to Child Emperor which he says it's because their 精神 (mind/spirit) is connected in spirit world. (Adding raw pages to here)
Not just that but there are other implications in the series as well. Like Psykorochi was going to absorb and fuse people's 精神 (mind/spirit) and become an gigantic 思念體 (thought body). Same as Phoenix Man and Child Emperor.
Also we have a monster with similar situation to what Psykorochi was trying to achieve(He's on a smallar scale though). Evil Eye, after being implanted the eyes of the dead monsters, states that he could hear them and hear their residual thoughts, and could tell their current feelings, that they were enjoying the situation right now. And his psychic ability got stronger thanks to that as well, same with Psykorochi. (It's accepted as multiple selves type 1 and type 2).
