His armor's durability should probably at least match his striking power given Sonic's strikes, while able to gouge out chunks of the material, doesn't cleanly slice through it

@Core - I don't see why not given it caught Genos by surprise *shrugs*

She wasn't exactly next to Genos either when either were about to fire off an attack?

So basically large building/MCB level?

If so would that mean it's a nerf for Sonic? Because he currently has City Level DC/AP. He never shown any feats of harming such an opponent on that level

As we know he can kill Dehydrated Sea King w/Weapons

Like I noted, it harmed the material to the point friction generated smoke, just that it didn't completely slice through

Could just be Sonic was going for a shallow cut a la assassin type shit

Could just be a fairly tough material (for all we know, it's the same shit that the Hero Association Building is made of [would make sense given its some kind of advanced combat armor])

From One's WoG statement right? And by scaling Sonic = Genos that means Genos beats Sea King too

Fair enough, he's that arrogant after all. Then again he takes great pride making sure no kill gets away. And I'm still betting that the Association/Organization is related to Metal Knight and that G4 guy that was supposed to fight King.

And I thought Genos defeating Sea King in optimal conditions (no distractions) was a given. One point blank incineration blast to the cheek completely dehydrated True Form Sea King. I'd figure another would have finished him off had Genos been given the chance.

Suppose you could say Hammerhead living was the first of many blows to Sonic's pride. Just kind of went downhill for him with that job. Wouldn't discount the idea, yeah.

I'd also like to point out that Sonic was likely going to kill Genos had Saitama not intervened, so maybe Hammerhead's armor has better durability than we're giving it credit for.
