Chapter 173 - SECRET INTEL elaborated the history of GOD and BLAST. We also got a glimpse of the fight between Elder Centipede and Blast.
Clearly, from what was shown ,it seems like Blast was on par with Elder Centipede in strength. He clearly looks Battle Damaged.
Secondly, it was Stated that GOD offered Blast His Powers which he refused ,this only happens when one's spirit is low or they are in a very bleak situation as shown previously with Weakened Tatsumaki ,Garou and Homeless Emperor. This implies that Blast's Fight with EC was not a piece of cake for him.
There is no reason to assume that Blast became powerful after that fight. Its purely Headcanon.

Upgrade Elder Centipede to Atleast 5-A /Possibly High 4-C by scaling to Blast.

I guess someone had to try it lol but tbh the feat is just too vague anyways. All we know is he fought against God and survived and seemingly pushed it out of Earth.

As for EC, the vagueness is if he actually did damage Blast and if it was amped.
