Okay, I don't think that's enough for this change. Admittedly, my earlier disagree vote is outdated as the proposal has been updated since then and I was supposed to give a re-evaluation a few months ago but must have lost track of the thread again. I'll give it another look soon.

Okay, so taking a look at the updated calculation in the OP, I'm still more in favor of the current method than the newly proposed method. The new method uses four steps of pixelscaling; Franky's height to the width of the stairs, the width of the stairs to the height of the wall, the height of the wall to the height of a building, and the height of a building to the width of Thriller Bark. In contrast the current calculation just uses the height of Oars to the width of Thriller Bark.
Moreover the proposed calculation ends up calculating the height of the building on the side of the mansion as being 441 meters tall, despite it being shown in the same chapter that the building is smaller than Oars himself who has a stated height of 67 meters. This isn't necessarily the only inconsistency either as the stairs are not consistently 64 meters wide too.
My vote remains to disagree with the OP's proposal.
