Old Man Rematch: Garp vs Whitebeard

Got bored and thought that the old discussion on this was pretty outdated. Garp has shown off a lot more than last time, so let’s give the old guy a REAL shot at the other old guy.

This is Current Garp vs Old Whitebeard.

Fight is at Marineford and both are bloodlusted.

You should probably make this Old Whitebeard instead of Marineford Whitebeard since Marineford Whitebeard is weaker and can't fight for long without getting heart attacks

Okay so while Egghead revisions aren't ready yet, it should be noted that Garp without Hao Infusion now scales to 268.8 Exatons thanks to him clashing equally with Kuzan's Ice glove + Buso.

How's Garp's Haki in comparison to Oldbeard's, and how does he deal with Internal Vibrations if it isn't better?

How's Garp's Haki in comparison to Oldbeard's

Garp may have more feats of Hao, but this WB clashed with Shanks using ACoC and split the sky, so maybe they are equal.

Considering that this version of WB did not showed himself weakened in Armament, we can assume that Garp's only advantage in ACoA is AoE, something that Shirohige does with his quakes.

Now in Kenbun, I believe that Newgate has a slight advantage, even though Garp trained Koby and Aokiji, excellent kenbun users, WB has feats of dodging Ace even while sleeping. I still think it's a very small advantage that Garp could counter with Soru.

This battle is a fight of stamina above all else, they are equal in all the physical attributes and Haki, however Whitebeard's endurance feats are undeniably superior (Take into account that he fought the entire Marineford War while sick with serious heart problems).

Whitebeard has shown himself capable of fighting with his internal organs melted into magma and with a third of his head completely destroyed. He has a very high resistance to pain, much greater than Garp's. This argument may be weak but in Hachinosu, Garp only had to deal mostly with Aokiji, while in Marineford, Whitebeard faced Akainu who is stronger than Aokiji.

For stamina, I vote for Whitebeard, extreme diff.

Wouldn’t WB naturally progress to a similar state as his marineford version? Which would weaken WB’s haki by a lot being unable to use observation haki and possibly ACoC while also giving garp openings with WB’s mini heart attacks. I don’t see WB being able to last as he did with in marinford with his powerful garp is.

Wouldn’t WB naturally progress to a similar state as his marineford version?

In Marineford his health was much worse over years, this version of WB has never been shown to be directly affected by illnesses in fights (And we've seen him fight Ace over a hundred times in a row of months in Ace's novel).
