がつぎつぎとなぎ倒される破砕音と、絶望的なピッチで震える大地に、彼はのがれられぬ死を否が応でも悟ることになる。肺にどす黒い塊がつめこまれたかのように、息をすることさえままならない。彼にはもう、自分の名前さえわからなかった。悪い夢としか思えなかった。夢であってほしかった。彼は足を止め、 振り返る。すべてが幻であることを信じて――。
