That effect just increases with Tier.
Tier 1 version of this: They once dropped a meteor on a guy that "transcends all dimensions". We have barely information about it but context is unnecessary. I will argue that its vaguely implied to have been a meta-meteor, to explain away the contradiction.
Tier 0 version of this: We are not conclusively sure this is even a character, but since we have never seen it there are no contradictions, which really supports its ranking.

Honestly, to be fair, from the 3-A tier onwards (so yeah universal and up) we enter the realm of theoretical guesswork and informed assumptions and calculations and it's even more murky after the 2-A tier at best (until, well, you hit the Absolute Infinite or anything that suggests NLF cause of being unquantifiable or unqualifiable or basically limitless and ineffable/indescribable) so... yeah I'd say you both have a point, after 3-A and especially after 2-A everything gets more and more complex and mind-boggling to the point we question the reason for philosophy and cosmology and the existence of the universe and whatnot, so yeah basically either it's incredibly imaginative and brilliant or absurdly nonsensical and wacky.
