Yes. Otherwise, people would think it's OK to needlessly write several, time-consuming topics about this and that and this and that, until people start getting warned in several of their walls, even innocent users. Then, some people might get more than just stress. I am not sure what they truly want with more than of the same thread, when the stuff we have here in one of them invalidates the other.

Appearently, simply closing these controversial or rather, time-consuming threads isn't enough anymore. They would be have to be removed as well, at least some of them.
