Nomu's tier is weird?

All Might underwent many revisions, including one that landed at 7-C. Nomu just didn't keep up with the revisions it looks like. He is absolutely around the same level as weakened All Might and is superior to the Detroit Smash which grants AM his 6-C.

Nah the last revision gave All-Might another key. Now its "Post AfO" | "After losing his quirk" | "Prime".

So Nomu scales to All-Might after he had lost the majority of his power due to giving Deku his quirk, rather than All-Might in the first few chapters.

Does this need to be better clarified in Noumu's profile?

It may be better to better clarify the keys in All-Might's profile.

> Key: Weakened | Remnants of One For All | Prime

Remnants of OfA may've lead to this misunderstanding (since it may imply his form during the AfO fight rather than post-Deku). And/Or what Assaltwaffle suggested.

Something like "Fought with All Might, who only had the Remnants of One For All" should be fine.

Okay. Feel free to update the page accordingly.

@Qawsedf234 I'm not sure why anyone would confuse that when in this key he is scaling from a feat that happened long before his fight with All For One.

Seems like the OP and Assault were confused, but I could be wrong. Your idea gets the job done either way.

Wait so Nomu fought All Might at the school. All Might at the school was in his weakened version right?

All-Might during chapter 1-2 and Illegals: First Key

All-Might from Chapter 3 to 94: Second Key

All-Might's prime before he fought AfO: Third key

So you're saying that Nomu was able to fight All Might a tier 6-C only because All Might gave Deku his quirk which weakens him?

7-C Nomu vs 7-C All Might makes sense but the 7-C key says with Remnants of "One For All."

When I think of Remnants of "One For All" I think of the direct fight between All Might and All For One in season 3 and nothing more.

Basically you're saying that "with Remnants of One For All" is when he fought Nomu? It doesn't make sense for him to have been so drastically weakened from a tier 6-C to a 7-C just because of a transfer of power.

Basically All-Might was 6-C. Then he gave away his quirk and became 7-C

We used the movie for the last thread, which included this image. While we agreed not to scale directly from it, it shows All-Might's power dropped more after giving Deku his quirk then when he was injured by AfO. So in other words giving up the quirk decreased his power more than losing like half of his internal organs.

Haven't seen the movie yet (where to watch legal streaming of it anyone?).

Ok so according to that graph it was a gradual drop and not that quick of a drop either. How long was it from when All Might gave Deku One For All? Like a month at MOST. I don't see how he'd drop from 6-C to 7-C that fast and if it did drop that fast then by rate he should've dropped to zero long before fight All For One again.

So how I've always seen it was:

Prime most powerful

Weakened (hurt by One For all) = Nomu

Remnants of One For All = All For One

Wouldn't that make more sense?

Dunno about streaming but the Funi site has it

There were two massive power drops and a gradual decrease after each one. The first was from AfO which got worse because All-Might kept on being a hero and was just gradually getting in worse health. The second is after giving away the quirk and it getting worse for similar reasons

He experienced a massive power drop, however, it was a one time large drop. In other words him going from 6-C to 7-C was due to giving up the quirk, and after that it began to steadily get worse but at a smaller rate.

Remnants meaning his actual almost complete loss of One For All.

After giving away the quirk all he had were the remnants of his former power

It was a gradual drop after he suffered the injury, but after giving OFA to Deku, the drop was massive.

> Remnants meaning his actual almost complete loss of One For All.

The Remnants of OFA is what he had after giving his Quirk to Deku, I don't know where you got that from.

That's not a gradual drop, that's a pretty big drop.

The second gap down is when he gave OFA to Izuku.

There's a large drop, then a gradual decrease, then another large drop, and then more gradual decreases.

It doesn't make sense for someone to go from High 4C to 3A by training on an island of animals, but that happened

It doesn't make sense for someone to go from 8C to 8B based on a couple days of training or absolutely no form of training. But that happened

Fictional Powerscaling doesn't need to make sense, it needs to be consistent regardless of the reasons

So what, if anything, needs to be done here?

Okay. Should I close this then?
