Nitpicks about Doomguy's profile (Classic key edition)

Type 8 Immortality

> Due to the eternal struggle between good and evil, there will always be demons and the Slayer
This is Marty talking about how DOOM has always been a story about one good man against an army of evil, not sure why is this used as proof for his immortality.

Doesn't even link to the codex that mentions this.
These are all random comments written by a human being who is fangirling over Doomguy. We have many reasons to assume that Elena was a regular scientist that started blindly worshipping Doomguy after seeing displays of his badassery (understandable, I'd do the same), she is not reliable whatsoever regarding his Type 8 immortality.

Overall, Type 8 Immortality can still stay due to the ending of Eternal's DLC and Hugo's statements about it.

Immortality Negation

> Can kill undead beings permanently and rather easily, both zombies and spirits. Undead beings, specifically due to their undead status, cannot be killed normally, allowing them to survive even if blown to pieces. They can even survive just as skeletons.

Absolutely nothing here states or even shows that Doomguy has some special ability or equipment that let's him permanently kill undead. It even shows that Quake's zombies can be killed permanently by blowing them up, which does not prove negation of type 2 or 7 immortality, but rather exploits the weaknesses of those immortalities. Furthermore, nothing shows that the undead and spirits of DOOM's setting are hard to kill, they function as pretty much most undead in every other setting, that being that they're enduring but still easily killable if you damage them hard enough. This is like shoving a robot into molten magma and saying you have Inorganic Physiology Negation because of that.
Once again this is just exploiting the weakness of an immortality, rather than actually having the ability to negate it. It is outright stated on both the profile and scan that the Mother Demon managed to heal herself while being in a critical state, and that it took her a lot of years to actually ressurect all the demons you killed in the previous entries. Doomguy doesn't negate her regen whatsoever, he just kills her fast enough that she's unable to use her regeneration.
demon immortality in general seems to just be a giant mess so ill have to make a seperate thread about it

Overall, this ability has to go.

Regen Negation

Just read the previous section LMAO

Senses

> Doomguy is able to feel the presence of demons[2]
Links to a screenshot of some random Fandom wiki instead of the actual scan. Should be changed.

My only argument for this is that shotguns produce a LOT of light in the original DOOM. However, I can't provide any scans for it so I guess it can stay. Also this scan and statement is used twice for some reason...?

Free Movement

> Can walk across thin air
They're invisible bridges. Doomguy needs to activate the first one, even further proving that this isn't an ability of his. In the first scan the guy literally shows and says that it's an invisible bridge. Aztec takes place right after Well of Souls, so Doomguy would already be aware of invisible bridges, especially when there's convenient pillars of light in the shape of support beams you'd use for a bridge.

Why are we assuming that they're actually deep moats of water and blood? Not only does it not make any sense to assume that they're that deep, but a very good argument can be made that due to engine limitations ID didn't know how to make "realistic" water at the time.

I have no clue how was this accepted in the first place, especially when the scans used quite literally prove that Doomguy does not have these abilities. Get them out.
