Yes, everyone you play as is capable of doing that, but not every NPC is. That is my point.

That's... that's not a feat. That's a statement and as already covered extensively, that doesn't mean that each soldier went through multiple operations all over the earth. Having fought in the second-worst European war is far better than that vague statement.

Because if it's H2H Niko's in trouble. But maybe you're right. It likely wouldn't come to this.

Yeah, it shouldn't. Both have a plethora of firearms and explosives - no reason to fight hand to hand.

And I think the disparity in H2H skill is too huge regardless even if it were to come to that.

Again, it's not like every single Merryweather merc fought several wars across the planet. You can't prove that.

Niko's odds were also far worse (for one, worse training as you yourself have stated several times) and he still survived. That's a pretty good skill feat.

But I wasn't really referring to his accomplishments prior to the events of the game.

Apparently the description of the thread says 6 vote for Niko, but I think a 7th one was at least somewhere here, so I think I may/may not be mistaken here. I did skim though the versus thread rules page on verdicts.

Ah, I see now. There's 7 votes for Niko and there was only really one disagreement against his side, but that got settled.

Niko FRA, man's had worse days to fight in and he still came out on top, and that's saying something given that he did most of it as a child soldier, which would be considerably more nerve-wracking than most robberies that Trevor could pull off.
