Night of the Ants (Version 2.0 or Rematch)

They have to display symptoms and take a few hours to die.

Isn't stated but should be of at least a few meters. It takes those who come relatively close or touch him to be affected.

Hours, alright. So the match should be long over by then.

Only a few meters? Then it depends on how close Meruem can actually get to Baam, and whether or not extended time in Meruem's proximity is needed in order for the radiation to be truly potent. Though, if it takes a few hours, it'll likely be some time till Baam feels the worst of the symptoms. I still think he'll be able to successfully bombard from a dozen or so meters, potentially mixing in black hole spheres. I think the radiation more so puts a set time limit on the match, though I think we both agree that, by the time Baam dies from radiation if he gets that close, the match would've been over by that point one way or another.

Meruem Would propably die first considering he is already affected and he would need to infect baam(and the poison is just "regular" poison).

Acording to the wikia the poison causes internal damage, so couldn't the exoskeleton just heal baam?

Poison should take less than an hour to kill actually. Youpi died in 20-30 minutes, and Pouf not long after.

Meruem surviving for hours after being exposed is the reason he has poison resistance.

Might wanna make a CRT then, cause we've been treating it as poison and there's a huge difference. It was specifically reffered to as poison in the manga too.

I thought Poof and Yupi were infected because they were at GZ when Minature Rose went off. If it was through meeting Meruem then wouldn't Palm, wolfien, and the others be infected as well?

That's why Pouf and Yupi died yeah, but Komugi died from meeting Meruem, and the narrator talked about how this bomb was considered so dangerous because of how the poison spreads from person to person even after the shockwave.

But it would still take a decently long time for Baam to be infected, since it took a while for Komugi to be infected while she was playing the game that I don't remember the name of with Meruem throughout the whole night.

But getting close to Baam isn't exactly a good idea considering the speed and AP diference.

Also, can't Baam resist the poison too? I know he doesn't have poison resistance in his profile, but Meruem only resisted the poison because he was very durable not because of some ability, especially considering that it killed the royal guards faster than him and kills humans even faster.

There's the exoskeleton, considering that the poison deals internal damage it's possible that the exoskeleton would heal him. the problem is that it was only used twice and only one time to heal.
