Nemesis (Resident Evil) vs William Burkin (Resident Evil)

Nemesis's canonically stronger, at least if we were to compare them at the respective stage, and he's also got the rocket launcher and his coat which acts as additional protection given its properties.
They carry the same virus and are already infected by it, they have similar regeneration, stamina, immortality and mutation process.

I'd say the Nemesis would blast Birkin, wearing him down quite a lot, then they'd slug at each other until Birkin succumbs to the stronger opponent.

There's a lot wrong with this argument, it really hurts to see:
1) There's not canonical confirmation of Nemesis being stronger than Birkin.
2) They don't carry the same virus at all, Nemesis is a modified Tyrant, Tyrants are made with the T-Virus (Tyrant Virus), but Nemesis has the upgrade with a neurologic parasite called N-Alpha (that gives him more intelligence, tentacles and better regeneration than a conventional Tyrant), Birkin was victim of the G-Virus, a Virus that he invented using the powerful blood of the mutant Lisa Trevor.
3) Nemesis regeneration is limited, he needs to consume flesh to regenerate for massive damage, while G-Birkin always regenerate and mutate further with damage, to the point that it was needed completely incineration to kill him, while to kill Nemesis you had to destroy the parasite.
