negating existence erasure

ok I know this is going to sound wild af but it is what happened

So these beings can erase someone across the timeline like flat out erase no memories timeline changes because of their disappearance (A lawyer got erased and her discovery disappeared alongside her making it so her discovery was no longer available to be used in defense).

Now our MC being deus ex machinima I ignore your ability. has the ability to reverse these erasures. like flat-out people who were erased started coming back to the timeline and everyone had memory of them. like their discovery was also remembered but the timeline wasn't fully recovered in a way some lingering effect of them being erased remained for example
someone who is going to stop the destruction of an island got erased so the island got destroyed but when they took that person back the island remained damaged.

Now MC can do just that. he basically fought those beings and as he does it the erased people slowly came back to existence. When he finally defeated their big boss everything went back to normal except for those that got affected in real-time and not by timeline distortions (AKA people who died naturally or places got destroyed naturally as the battle occurred).

does this count as negation rather than resistance?

to add more support regarding its validity. this happened way before but it was done by a different being (returning those erased)
